Shardiya Navratri 2021: Auspicious time and correct method for Ghatasthapana
Ghatasthapana is considered to be one of the important rituals performed during Navratri. These are the rules and guidelines for performing Ghat Sthapana in a given time period in our scriptures for the beginning of the 9 days festival. Mother Goddess is invoked from Ghatasthapana. If it is installed at the wrong time period, then Goddess Durga can also become angry. Ghatasthapana is done only during the new moon night. If you want to establish it with mantras, then you can complete it with the help of a pandit.
If the most auspicious time to establish That is done in the morning on the day of Pratipada, then it is considered very auspicious. If due to some reason this time is not available then Ghatasthapana can be performed during any Abhijit Muhurta. It is especially advised to avoid Nakshatra Chitra and Vaidhriti Yoga during Ghatasthapana but it is not so special. The most important thing is that Ghatasthapana should be done before noon according to the Hindu religion.
Shardiya Navratri will start from 7 October 2021 on Pratipada of Ashwin month Shukla Paksha. These days, which last till October 14, different forms of Maa Durga are worshipped. The festival of Ram Navami will be celebrated on 15 October.
This time on 7th October, the auspicious time of Ghatasthapana is from 6.17 am to 7.07 am. Performing Ghatasthapana at this time makes Navratri fruitful. To perform this Ghatasthapana, you should have 7 types of grains and earthen pots, Gangajal, Ashoka leaves, betel nut, coconut, and red clothes, and flowers.
1. Clay pot for sowing seven kinds of grain and grain
2. Clean soil for sowing grains
3. Clay pots
4. Holy Ganges water
5. Sacred thread
6. Perfume
7. Betel nuts
8. Coins to put in the vase
9. Five leaves of the mango tree
10. Lids to cover 10 colors
11. Raw whole rice
12. Raw coconut
13. Gulmohar flower
14. Durva Grass
1. First of all clean the earthen pot properly and then keep 7 types of grains in it
2. After that, fill the water in the vase and put the Kalawa dam on the neck of the urn on top of the earthen pot.
3. Fill the Kalash with Ganges water till the neck.
4. Put betel nut perfume, durva grass, akshat and coin in the water.
5. After this, keep 5 leaves of Ashoka covered with a lid on the edge of the urn.
6. Now wrap the coconut inside the red cloth and then tie it with a holy thread.
7. Now place this coconut on top of the Kalash.
8. Finally, place the Kalash in the middle of the earthen pot.
At last you will have the Kalash from which Mother Durga can be invoked.
Navratri Mata Puja Meditation Mantra
गंगे! च यमुने! चैव गोदावरी! सरस्वति!
नर्मदे! सिंधु! कावेरि! जलेSस्मिन् सन्निधिं कुरु।।
Devotees who keep fast during the 9 days of Navratri, worshiping with this mantra makes the mother very happy.
ॐ विष्णुः विष्णुः विष्णुः, अद्य ब्राह्मणो वयसः परार्धे श्रीश्वेतवाराहकल्पे जम्बूद्वीपे भारतवर्षे(अपने नगर या गांव का नाम लें), अमुकनामसम्वत्सरे आश्विनशुक्लप्रतिपदे अमुकवासरे प्रारभमाणे नवरात्रपर्वणि एतासु नवतिथिषु
अखिलपापक्षयपूर्वक-श्रुति-स्मृत्युक्त-पुण्यसमवेत-सर्वसुखोपलब्धये संयमादिनियमान् दृढ़ं पालयन् अमुकगोत्रः
अमुकनामाहं भगवत्याः दुर्गायाः प्रसादाय व्रतं विधास्ये।

यथोपलब्धपूजनसामग्रीभिः कार्य सिद्धयर्थं कलशाधिष्ठित देवता सहित, श्री दुर्गा पूजनं महं करिष्ये।"
